Brief Synopsis
MUNICH ‘72 is a three-part television series that will relive the 5th of September 1972, minute-by-minute. A group of Palestinian terrorists invade the Olympic Village and abduct members of the Israeli Olympic Team. The ensuing political debacle resulted in a notoriously botched rescue operation that ultimately ended with all 11 hostages’ deaths. The series will focus on the events that transpired at the Olympic Village DQG Through interviews with athletes, security personnel, high-ranking politicians, and experts, will unpack what really happened on this tragic day in a manner that was not possible until today. The series’ singular style is in the way it combines real-life documentary footage and breathtaking dramatic scenes that are inspired by newly revealed historical information. These tense sequences will immerse the viewer in the tragic events in a completely unique manner.
